KFCP provides free medical-alert identification bracelets or necklaces upon request to any person with kidney disease within our service area. The purpose of wearing this jewelry, customized to reflect a person's individual medical needs, is to alert medical professionals in the event of an emergency. Most requests for jewelry are forwarded to KFCP by social workers at the more than 40 dialysis and transplant centers throughout the KFCP service area.
