financially underwritten by KFCP.

- A developing new program that is being designed to increase organ donation through living donors.

- Social Worker’s Petty Cash Fund
- Provides dialysis and transplant social workers emergency funds for patients.

- Nutritional Supplement Program
- Provides much in demand vital nutritional supplements to area kidney patients free of charge.

- Literature Library
- Informational brochures, pamphlets,
pertinent kidney websites and other
literature are available at the KFCP
office.

- Medical Alert Jewelry
- Free medical alert identification
bracelets or necklaces are provided for people with
kidney disease.

- Patient and Family Workshop
- KFCP hosts this workshop for all
interested persons with kidney disease and their families.

- Transportation Services
- Through a new contract with the State of Pennsylvania,
KFCP provides reimbursement for transportation expenses to and
from the dialysis units for qualifying dialysis patients.

- Kidney Donor Assistance Program
- Provides financial aid to qualifying living related or living unrelated kidney donors.
|

- Patient Partner Program
- A new program that matches KFCP-trained and certified
volunteers with newly diagnosed end-stage renal disease patients
to provide them emotional support and guidance in dealing
with their illness.

- A monthly support group is hosted by
KFCP.

- Update on Chronic Kidney Disease
